Experience
Jill has worked in the field of eating disorder treatment since 2015. While most of her experience included working with the child and adolescent population in residential, inpatient, and partial hospitalization levels of care, Jill has experience working with all age groups and various ED diagnoses. Currently, Jill works with adults as well as older adolescents with ARFID and other ED diagnoses. Jill recently completed specialty training for treatment of ARFID, and enjoys working with clients with this diagnosis, taking approaches based on each client’s individualized needs.

- Undergraduate: Oregon State University, BS in Food and Nutrition Science – Dietetics option
- Graduate: Mount Mary College, MS in Dietetics
- Certified Eating Disorders Specialist
Philosophy
My approach to treatment involves moving towards inclusion of all foods, as every food can provide some benefit with consideration for balance and moderation. I want to move my clients away from “good” vs “bad” messaging around food, and toward increased enjoyment of the eating experience. I take a very individualized approach in my work with clients, and enjoy including nutrition education in sessions as appropriate. I like to meet clients where they are at in recovery, and collaborate with them when setting goals and creating plans.

I believe that VERY is a great asset to the communities it serves, as it provides clients with easy access to ED clinicians, especially in areas where it is difficult to find qualified professionals. Clients can establish a full support team with VERY, or find a clinician to add to their current team.
