Experience
Leah worked in multiple PHP/IOP levels of care in the eating disorder field before transitioning to an outpatient practice specializing in the care of eating disorders and related concerns. Leah’s treatment focuses on client’s struggling with all eating disorders, starting at age 11 and through the lifespan. Leah has a passion for family therapy, and working with couples and families who have family members in the process of recovering from an eating disorder.
Education
Undergraduate- Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Northridge 2009
Graduate- Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seton Hall University 2015
Philosophy
I work primarily from a Health at Every Size, Trauma Focused and Family System approach. The goal of my treatment is to empower clients in all aspects of their lives.
Why VERY?
I love the idea of being able to provide accessible care to individuals working to recover from their disorders. Very is a team of knowledgeable and dedicated professionals in this field, which offers me the opportunity to provide quality ED care to clients across the country.
