I am a therapist but I am a human first, and so I place value on building and strengthening the therapeutic relationship. My style is collaborative and balances sarcasm when appropriate, unconditional positive regard, and directness. I appreciate an eclectic approach to meet individuals where they are and that includes the following therapeutic modalities: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)/Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC).

I believe that real recovery happens in real life. I recognize the importance of receiving treatment in the least restrictive environment and specifically at home – the place where individuals are exposed to their triggers and the same place where they can learn to cope with them.
