Philosophy

My philosophy centers on a holistic, patient-centered approach to care. I believe that true healing extends beyond just addressing the symptoms of the disorder—it involves nurturing the mind, body, and spirit in harmony. I see each patient as an integral part of their treatment team, emphasizing collaboration, mutual respect, and empowerment throughout the recovery process. I value the unique experiences and perspectives that each individual brings, understanding that their journey is personal and complex. By fostering a compassionate, supportive environment, I work with my patients to develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that honor their autonomy, build trust, and promote lasting recovery. It is through this partnership that I believe lasting change and healing can occur.

Why VERY?

I truly love working for VERY because of their unwavering commitment to a whole-person, multidisciplinary approach to treating eating disorders. This holistic philosophy aligns perfectly with my own values as a clinician. At VERY, the focus is not just on managing symptoms, but on understanding and addressing the deeper emotional, psychological, and physiological factors that contribute to the disorder. The collaborative environment, where professionals from various disciplines come together to provide comprehensive care, ensures that each patient receives the most effective, well-rounded treatment possible. I deeply appreciate being part of a team that recognizes the complexity of eating disorders and works together to empower patients on their journey toward healing. This shared dedication to treating the whole person and supporting long-term recovery is what makes working at VERY such a fulfilling experience for me.
