Experience

Lisa has worked in the eating disorder population at all levels of care. Her interest in the field started during graduate school. She spent 2 years as an inpatient, residential and partial hospitalization dietitian. She has spent the last 6 years working in the outpatient setting.

Education

Bachelors of Science in Nutrition from Metropolitan State University of Denver.

Philosophy

I strive to share my knowledge of nutrition, metabolism and diet culture daily. I hope to be the sounding voice for misinformation and intrusive disordered thoughts.

Why VERY?

My desire to work at VERY started while working at a HLOC. Often times as we tried to find a care team for individuals stepping down to outpatient there was limited access to care. The continuum of care is so very important while working on recovery and I wanted to help fill that void.

Interests

Biking, hiking, cooking, traveling and dogs.
