Kelly is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with licensure to practice in the states of Colorado, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Maryland, and Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the Metropolitan State University of Denver and performed her supervised internship at The University of Northern Colorado. Since becoming licensed as a Dietitian, Kelly has found her passion in working with children, adolescents, and young adults with eating disorders. She is also a former collegiate athlete, having played basketball at the Division I level, which gives her a unique skill set and perspective in working with athletes struggling with eating disorders.

Kelly’s clinical experience encompasses working with individuals with eating disorders at all levels of care. She has worked at the ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders, a dedicated ICU for eating disorder patients, at the Eating Recovery Center at their inpatient, residential, and PHP levels of care, and in the outpatient setting at a small private practice.

Kelly believes there is no “one size fits all” approach to treating individuals with eating disorders. Each person’s struggle with this disease is unique and as such, they deserve a clinician who is willing to support them in a unique way. She has a kind yet direct approach to her nutrition counseling style, providing guidance and support while also helping patients continue to move toward recovery by providing a gentle nudge when needed. She practices an “all foods fit” mentality and truly believes having a more neutral, balanced, and flexible relationship with food is possible for anyone and everyone.
